The sub-program focus was on the scale-up and pilot development of bioindustrial products and bioindustrial technologies.

Eligible projects included some or all of the following activities:

  • Scale-up, pilot, pre-commercial and commercial processing activities, biomass conversion and characterization.
  • Biomass characterization with direct application to the bioindustrial sector.
